Out of the Ark - Songs and Dances at Home
About Out of the Ark
For 30 years, teachers have been coming to Out of the Ark Music to find resources that they know will be educationally relevant, easy to use and perfectly suited to primary school children. We've built our reputation on providing the very best singing resources and songbooks for schools that teachers love to teach and children love to sing! We started with a nativity (Off To Bethlehem) and an assembly songbook (Songs for EVERY Season) but now have over 160 titles for our customers to enjoy and be inspired by, and have expanded our songbooks to support key curriculum topics suitable for EYFS, KS1 / P1-3 and KS2 / P4-7. Songs will always be at the heart of what we do, and we believe that a song can be a springboard to other learning, whether that is musical or in other curriculum areas, and firmly believe that our curriculum-linked resources can support learning in the classroom.
Providing a broad and balanced curriculum is important for every school, and by allowing pupils to learn through music and song it helps them develop a whole host of skills, and encourages them to engage creatively with curriculum subjects and topics. It also supports whole-school well-being. Delivering subjects through a new, imaginative format really can bring them to life, achieving amazing improvements in learning and overall results in the classroom.
So how has Out of the Ark Music become the leading provider of songs for primary schools in the UK with nearly 20,000 schools using our songs? It's because we provide you with exactly the singing inspiration and supporting resources you want and in the format that is best suited to your needs, whether that is a Book and Audio CD or through our online Words on Screen™ Player which makes teaching and learning songs so much simpler, and enables you to keep all your Out of the Ark Music resources in one place!
